Welcome to my website. I am a postdoctoral researcher in Global Transformations and Governance Challenges (GTGC) Program at Leiden University. I earned a PhD in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California.
I study environmental politics and developing countries. Developing countries are facing increasing domestic environmental pollution, and they are playing ever important roles in international environmental cooperation. How they tackle domestic and international environmental challenges is of academic and policy significance.
My projects mainly explore two questions: How developing countries coalesce in international environmental negotiations; and what influence their decision-making in those negotiations. With a regional interest in Asia, I also study environmental regulations and economic development in China and India.
